How Do You Feel? by Janet Lynas, Ph.D., N.H.D.

“How do you feel?”

“With my fingers!”

Seriously, how do you feel? The year 2022 has been a difficult one world wide. I won’t re-hatch what we all already know. But, I do want to look ahead at the year 2023.

Is Your Glass Full?

Is your glass half empty or half full? The water level in the glass is the same no matter which perspective you have. So, I’m asking you again, how do you feel? Where is your focus? Are you in touch with your feelings, your emotions?

Live in the moment! Pay attention to what’s going on in the current moment! What you think about is what you will manifest in your life. Remember that! I can’t stress this enough.

Many of you will focus on the downturn in the economy and feel fear about the future. Many of you will look at what’s going on in the world, but you will view the current events as opportunities. Both sides of the coin see the same events. But, it’s where you decide to place your focus is that determines what will happen to you.

The other day I suddenly stopped what I was doing and noticed that I wasn’t in touch with what I was feeling. I asked myself, “What am I feeling?” You see, something seemed off. It took a few moments before I could identify what my emotions were. It was a little unsettling. I felt lost in those a few moments. But, being out of synchronicity with myself got my attention!

So, what now?

How you determine to look at life will set the pace for this new year of 2023. As for me? I know the economy isn’t the best right now. World wide nations are collapsing economically. People are afraid of the future. These are all legitimate concerns. However, what will be your driving course of action?

For the last three months, I have been project manager on a new business for my community. I have briefly told you about working for Tesla BioHealing. My project is renovation on an old church building. I am the manager for Tesla MedBed in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It’s down to the wire now and it’s crunch time! The project has run smoothly and stayed on time until last week. People didn’t show up as promised last week. Supplies are delayed because of the new year holiday. People took time off.

So, what did I do when “Murphy’s Law” came to visit me? I took a step back and I realized there was a better plan for me. I just had to open my eyes to see it. You see, the company who was suppose to do the post construction clean-up didn’t follow through. I was told I was on the schedule for last week, therefore, I had other deliveries planned around the clean-up timeline. The company didn’t show up and they didn’t return my phone calls.

My beautifully orchestrated plan of action began to fall apart. Did I panic? I have to admit for a split second I felt a moment of anxiety. I’m a very calm and cool headed person. You have to be if you are a health care provider. But, for just a short moment…

Listening To The Inner Voice

I practice what I preach. I really do! I looked around the building thinking, “Ok, what now?” Then it came to me. One of the nurses who worked for me in a previous position, came to mind. You see, she and her daughters have a cleaning service on the side. I originally didn’t call my friend for the post construction clean up because I thought the job might be too large for them. I had talked to my friend about doing the weekly cleaning for the business, however, little did I know how much I underestimated her.

I called my former employee and talked with her. Within thirty minutes one of her daughters was at the center looking the job over. She gave me a quote on the spot and we made the deal. They will do the cleaning and I know from experience they will do a great job.

Not only will I most likely end up with a better deep cleaning, she gave me a fair price saving me money and helping me stay within budget.

My beautifully orchestrated dance is now back on track. The dance steps were rearranged and a new dance emerged. This dance is a little more exciting than the first choreography plan.

In Summary

I will make my deadline and open on time. The Hot Springs Center is a blessing to the community. The community is already happy with Tesla MedBed center even before it opens. The hideous Pepto-Bismol pink exterior color is gone! People tell me almost daily, “Thank you! I hated that color!”

I envision Tesla MedBed as being a blessing to the community of Hot Springs, Arkansas and to all the individuals who will grace our building with their presence. I see those individuals filling up the building. We are busy and our guest are blessed with powerful life changing results.

See the difference? I can envision what I just described or worry about how the business will do in these difficult economic times.

It’s my choice! I choose to see the blessings. I will keep you posted on how the center is progressing. Ribbon cutting is scheduled for January 25, 2023 at 10:05. Pray for this center to be a blessing for all who enter through her doors.
