I want to go on record as saying, baldness in a man can be sexy.  However, the reality is, most men feel less confident when they lose their hair.  It’s a shame how much emphasis we place on looks instead of the character of the individual.

Judges 14:9

In the story about Samson and Delilah, we read about Samson’s long hair and that God gave Samson his strength.  Now I know you are asking, “What does Judges and the story of Samson have to do with hair?”

Well, just hang in there for a few minutes and you will find out!  Judges 14:9 tells the story about Samson traveling through the vineyards of the Sorek Valley near his home in Timnah.  Samson becomes hungry and finds a beehive inside the carcass of a lion.  I can just imagine how hungry Samson had to have been to want to scoop a handful of the hive from the smelly carcass of a dead lion.  Most people think that Samson was eating honey from the hive, but he wasn’t.  He was eating part of the hive, the honeycomb.  Now the honeycomb contains the Royal Jelly that nourishes the queen bee.  This Royal Jelly is a powerhouse of nutritional life giving nutrients.

The queen bee is larger and stronger and lives longer than all the other bees because she is the only one who eats Royal Jelly.

Again, what does this have to do with regrowing hair?  I’m getting to it, just be patient.

The Missing Link

It seems that testosterone once again comes into play.  Can’t seem to live with it, certainly can’t live without it.  Once again, if you have too much testosterone it can cause hair lost.  Deep inside of your hair follicles is an enzyme called dihydrotestosterone (DHT).  We’ve talked about this enzyme earlier.  DHT is like testosterone on steroids, it’s actually 5 times more potent than testosterone.  So, the enzyme that helps make you a man, is also the problem with hair loss.

As a man ages, DHT shrinks the hair follicles to the point that the follicles are no longer able to produce hair.

This is where the Royal Jelly comes into the picture.  You see, this missing link helps to fight off DHT and restore your hair. But, how can Royal Jelly help with hair loss?

Royal Jelly contains a substance called Quebrachol which is also called beta sitosterol.  This substance is also found in plants and sometimes animals.  Plants containing sitosterol include soybeans, avocados and nuts.

Because of Quebrachol combination of natural elements it literally helps to prevent your body from converting testosterone into DHT.

The scientific research behind this is indisputable. Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies were conducted to determine the effect of Quebrachol on DHT hair loss.  I’m not going into the studies at this time.

Come to find out, there is a second potent ingredient in Royal Jelly that is a building block to restore your hair.  Coenzyme R or biotin has a unique molecular structure.  Coenzyme R transforms your food into the building blocks to grow thicker hair.

“What foods do I need to eat and how much?”, you ask.  Sorry to tell you, but in this case you get better results from a supplement.

I have researched supplements on hair regrowth and one of the supplements that have a good track record is called Restore FX by NorthStar Nutritionals.  The way this supplement works is that is contains 100 mg of Qluebrachol to stop the hair-destroying DHT.  Each serving also contains 600 mcg of Coenzyme R as well to support hair growth.  This supplement is mixed with an herbal extract that contains Serenoa to help reopen the hair follicles.  The next extract is Pygeum which is an extract from the African cherry tree.  The fourth herbal extract is Camellia Sinensis which is derived from a plant in East Asia.  It has been used since 2737 BC.

Building Blocks for Hair Regrowth

Coenzyme R works on the cellular level to make the hair follicles and roots strong. The second building block is Zinc which is crucial for hair growth.  The third is Copper and copper is essential for human life to survive.  Coming in Fourth is Sulfur.  Sulfur makes the hair strong and make a flexible bond in connecting hair cells. Coming in fifth place it Vitis Vinifera which comes from a Moroccan vine.  This compound contains an ingredient that binds to keratin in hair and stops the breakdown due to environmental stress. Number six is Stinging Nettle.  Stinging Nettle includes the minerals iron and calcium.  Stinging Nettles has also been used for joint pain.  Then in seventh place is Diindolylmethane (DIM).  This natural component comes from cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale and Brussel sprouts.  And last, but not least is Gamma-Linolenic Acid known as GLA.  GLA is an omega-6 essential fatty-acid.  It helps to treat inflamed hair follicles as well as inflammation throughout the body.

You can find more information about this supplement at:  www.northstarnutritionals.com

Restore FX will not drain your testosterone either.

I don’t usually talk about a brand name product, but in this case I thought I would mention it so you can decide for yourself.  If you try it let me know how it worked for you.
